Only fear losing wisdom, teeth are an added extra that can easily be replaced :)

My petrol Hyundai died and I'm thinking of going electric. We're living in the 21st century and should have appropriate technology. You will be missed at Steemfest. I couldn't make it either.

I had my wisdom teeth out ages ago. Not fun having a guy yanking them out.

Had 4 horizontal impacting wisdom teeth. It wasn't pleasant but Uncle Sam got em extracted while I was in recruit training.

Believe I got Percocets and a half day of bed rest then back to the grind. Yeah too bad you won't be at SteemFest.

I'm bout to board the final flight and am wore the hell out. Looking forward to the festivities.

Hoping @roelandp approves either my Steem Abuse roundtable or Proof of Brain: Is it just a buzzword "debate" session. (I prefer it to be characterized as a moderated discussion. The competitive nature of debate tends to get in the way of folks learning as much as possible.

One can be a good rhetorician, win the debate but this doesn't mean their argument is necessarily true.

Have a great trip. I'm sure you can set some parameters for your session.

Electric is still kinda far out in this region.. lack of infrastructure. I hope the driverless stuff matures by the time it picks up here so it can pay for itself ubering itself out there automatically lol

I hope it becomes the norm for most city transport to reduce the pollution issues. I look forward to summoning a robot car to get me around.

Fix shit that I can't fix kind of day

That's not so bad. In my experience, I tend to try and fix shit and make it 100x worse.

Once upon a time, changing the oil on my wife's car, I did not one but two FUs.

  1. Filter was too tight. Not budging. Figured I'd give it a tap with either a hammer or wrench. Bad idea. Did not realize until I was down the street that I cracked the oil filter housing like a big dummy.

  2. Somehow I drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil. Derp derp. That was fun.

Here I was trying to be thrifty be doing my own oil changes which had always been a pain in the ass btw. In that one instant, I cancelled all the money I had saved in the past oil changes I think. Cost about $400 to repair iirc.

I don't change my own oil anymore.

As for the wisdom teeth, good luck with that. If they are horizontal impacts, you may want to get on it sooner rather than later as I understand those can present worse problems. See image below.

Got both from my bottom jaw extracted when I was a kid. Not so fun seeing a spray of red coming out of my mouth lol.

I have some work that needs to be done on a wisdom tooth eventually too. Not looking forward to it.

Some mixed reviews for Death Stranding. Video Kojima did some great things with MGS so I would give it a chance. Wisdom teeth getting pulled sucks, but it's worth it compared to the ongoing problems they cause if they are impacted

2 questions!

  1. Did you ever return to Death Stranding after the Director's Cut Edition came out? I heard it's a must-play and I've been curious to play it now that it's on Steam :)

  2. Did you ever have to get your wisdome tooth out because it impacted your other teeth/jaw or because of infection?

I've done a lot of research and I have come to the conclusion that dentists are hackfrauds and they all say that about wisdom teeth. Wisdom teeth removal alone is estimated to be worth $3-5 billion a YEAR in the USA.... makes you think. https://www.vox.com/2015/1/13/7539983/wisdom-teeth-necessary God made us pretty perfect as far as organic machines on this planet go and unless your teeth are really fucked up, causing lots of pain, or are actively infected...why on earth would anyone get them removed...just because? Sounds like fucked up medical fraud on a massive scale to me.

Rant over.
