Solitude
"The desert is a natural extension of the inner silence of the body" Jean Baudrillard
Stormy sunrise over Arckaringa Hills and the Painted Desert in Outback South Australia. The orange, yellow, and white shale dates back to when this landscape was once an ancient seabed 80 million years ago. I was here all alone shooting the sunrise. The silence is striking. Not even a blade of grass to rustle in the wind. There are still places of unmistakable beauty and solitude left out there; it’s just that they are getting harder to find.

Another great shot of my back yard...Well, it's hundreds of kilometres away, but my home State certainly. You certainly bring it to life. In reality one may perceive it to be more...Bleak?
Reality is elusive and dependent on a bunch of chemicals sloshing around in some mushy stuff above your spinal cord.
Yeah, mushy is a good way to describe what's in my noggin.
