Sera Meets Her Untimely Death

February is gradually getting ready to say bye bye to us and as it fades away we have to also know time is not on our side each day. People will walk to us in so many ways and with so many influences but I want you to stay strong to be able to choose the best out of your own life for yourself.

Today we continue from where we ended yesterday with our story, well I had some arguments yesterday with some friends on whatsapp and they were really into what happens today because they think the priest of Thor was playing with fire and they also thought that the very spirit that is dwelling in the Chief's wife in the land of Jen might be a punishment from the gods to the Chief on wanting his son to lead the land when he is no more.

Today's episode,

Sera is been summoned again by the Chief, with the queen, sub chiefs and elders of the land but this time they invited the priest of their land to witness what goes on. Immediately the fetish priest got there, he accused Sera of being a witch and she has being the cause of all the misfortunes that have been governing their land.

After the priest had spoken the Chief came in to doubt what he was saying because it was this same priest who told them some time back that it was the fishermen that had caused the sudden deaths in their land all because he (the priest) accused them of still going for fishing every last Tuesday of the month. And now he is here again that Sera is now the cause of people dying in their village.

As the Chief ends his say, the Queen Mother of their land also added that she sides with what the Chief said and she also wonders why the witch of one being can cause a misfortune to a whole community. And if Sera was a witch as the priest said she thinks her family would rather bear the cost of all the deaths around and not the community.

First elder came in to tell the house that well first maybe the fishermen were a step further for the priest to know the real root of the curse on their land. And since the fishermen were not a problem anymore the priest has now know the root which is Sera killing people around.

Sera then came in with the shock that made everyone present speechless by calling the gods of their land to take her life if she knew about the cause of deaths in their village. When that was said the Chief asked Sera if she knew the momentum of what she just said, and what that alone can cause her and her generations. She boldly answered yes, which came with a farewell from the Chief to her and added if she does then she is the cause of her own death.

Later the next morning, Judith returned from the river side to fill up the pots at home with water, she came to meet the daughter of her step mom sweeping the compound. As she entered Sera's room to ask of what they would be preparing as breakfast for the day. Sera never responded to whatever shake Judith gave to her, she quickly called out for help which brought two elders of their land to their house and after seeing how sera was laying, they broken the news with her daughter and step daughter that their mother was no more among the living.

The elders quickly went to the shrine to inform the priest of what had happened, the priest out of joy rushed to the palace to inform the Chief that he was the very one who killed Sera when they met in the spiritual world last night and now everyone should celebrate because no one was going to suffer death again.
