Isn't it good to have a friend that you can tell all your secrets? But this friend is an AI. Those secrets do not stay with the AI, those secrets of yours now belong to whoever owns the AI.

It is like telling your secrets to a good looking servant that has an owner that may or may not use your secrets against you someday. Well, do not companies get bought out and even if the first owner has good intentions, the second owner might not.

This reminds me of Samson and Delilah. Delilah made Samson think that she loved him, but really she wanted all the silver that was promised her when she would let the five lords of the Philistines know the secret of Samson's strength. In return for such information, each of the five lords of the Philistines would give eleven hundred pieces of silver to her. She wanted the silver and for that she would make Samson believe that she loved him and then she would turn on him for the fifty-five hundred pieces of silver. With that much money in those days would she get to live off of.

Delilah's deed caused Samson to have his eyes put out, that he was blind to his death. So it would have been better for Samson to stay away from such a woman. In today's language you might say she was a gold digger. She didn't really care for Samson or she wouldn't have given him up, knowing that the five lords of the Philistines didn't love him at all, as they were his enemies.

You can read the story of Samson and Delilah in the book of Judges chapter 16.

So would you tell all your secrets to a good looking AI, knowing that every bit of information that you give it may be used against you in time?

Maybe you can look at it as a servant that will try to go into all your deep secrets and once you tell such secrets, the handlers of such an AI will now have something that can be used against you.

Of course all of this is my opinion, but look at things as they are today. Do corporations tell you the truth? Are they not more interested the silver or gold or bitcoin or whatever is of value?

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28.
