Late At Night In Front Of My Keyboard 10.19.2020

Yes, it is time to write again. About what? Well, let's see. I just got up from a nap and I guess it was a pretty good nap, because it seemed like I dreamed, but I can't really recall the dream.

My cat is up with me, I guess I should say it is early in the morning, as it is just past 3 am in morning. I am listening to some royalty free music, instrumental. I may use some of this music for a picture slide show.

My Moto G hasn't been taking a whole lot of pictures lately, as lately I have been writing with mostly no pictures. I used to think I have to have a picture, then write around the picture.

What if I just come up with some title and write around the title? Well, that is what I am doing at the moment.

Last night someone wanted me to take him to a party. It was an odd job, I do that for extra money sometimes. We had to stop by at a certain liquor store and he bought a case of 24 Modelo in bottles. Then I took him to the party.

He wanted me to come back and get him at midnight. I told him what if he doesn't call me? He told me to come get him at 12 midnight and get him even if he doesn't call me first. He told me one night of a party and he had to sleep on the couch with some dog breathing on him and he didn't want that to happen again.

Well, I drop him off and open the trunk so he can get his case of Modelo in bottles. Before he leaves me, I tell him to drink safely. He just laughed and said, How am I going to do that?

Well, I drove away and noted the landmarks as I had to return at midnight.

Well, I go home and do stuff, then I notice it is about 10 minutes to midnight, so I go and get him. I walk up to the party that seems like it is dying down, yet the music is pretty loud.

I see him with his head over a bed of a pickup truck. I see some girls dancing, they look at me, with some interest, but I am not there to pick up girls, I am there to pick up the guy that is totally drunk.

Some of his friends come by to me, and I tell them that I am here to pick him up and take him home as he wanted me to bring him home at midnight. I guess I felt I had to explain myself as I didn't want to look like I was crashing the party, then some more girls turn around to look at me, maybe to them I look like fresh meat.

Well, the guys seem to remember me and ask me about another neighbor, that they forgot the name of. I tell them the name and they all agree. Then they help the man to my car as I had to park far away as all the cars were parked around that house with the party.

Well, they finally get him in the car and I drive away for awhile only to hear him say, I feel sick. So I parked the car on the side of some street. Well, he opened the door and threw up and he threw up a lot and more than once.

He asked me for some napkins, I was lucky enough to have some napkins in my pocket as I like to water down my eye glasses and wipe them off with a napkin , then I put them in my pocket. Well, I had several napkins in my pocket and that was a good thing for him that is.

Well, I finally got him home and he told me he would pay me tomorrow or the next day. Well, he has been true to his word before and I would take him home for free as I don't like the thought of him sleeping on someone's couch with a dog breathing on him as he sleeps off his drunkenness.

As he is about to leave he tells me that some of his throw up is on my passenger door jam area and a little on the car carpet in that area. Well, luckily I still had some napkins in my pocket to clean it up. I have to clean it up, cause the next day that throw up will not smell good in the heat of the sun.

Well, I guess I did have something to write about.
