Yes, with Windows 7 I would always use Windows DVD Maker, now with my new/used computer with Windows 10 Pro there is no Windows DVD Maker at all.

So I looked, on the internet and find other people that were missing their Windows DVD Maker. So I was trying to figure out what other Windows 10 users do to make DVDs so they can play them on their DVD player.

Well, there was one that I tried called, CDBurnerXP. Well, it worked so that I can play it with another DVD player in my computer, then I took it to my mom's so she can check it out, but it wouldn't play, it said, something like, disc not supported.

Well, then I had to try something different. I found a video on Youtube called, How to create and burn a DVD for free in Windows 10. It is put up by The Computer Lab.

Well, in the video he told me to get two programs. That would be ImgBurn and DVD Flick. Then he says to right click on the icon of each and select properties. Then to select compatibility, then at compatibility mode select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2). He says to select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) for both ImgBurn and DVD Flick.

Well, since I have no idea how all of this works, so I just do what he is telling me to do. Then I follow more directions and then I try it. It actually works, then I take the disc to my DVD player and it does play.

Also to my surprise the ImgBurn comes on automatically when DVD Flick is ready to burn. Yes they work together automatically.

Well, I am trying to figure things out with this new to me Windows 10. Again I am only on Windows 10 cause Window 7 is ending pretty soon.

So I have a substitute for Windows DVD Maker in the two programs, ImgBurn and DVD Flick.

My other computer has Word 2007, so for a substitute I use LibreOffice 6.3. Well, it is not the same, but I can open my old documents with it and it seems pretty good for free. Nothing beats free. Well, I got the ImgBurn and DVD Flick for free too.

Well I only had my new/used computer, the Lenovo TS140 for five days now and I am getting used to it and finding other programs that will do things that my old computer used to do. So it is working out.

Let's end with a scripture, And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:19.
