So this plant will soon blossom. That will be a pretty sight, but it is not yet. I have given some of my aloe vera away. I gave one to my neighbor, but he is doing business from out of state.

I see that it still has life as it is watered with the rain, but we haven't had rain in awhile. I guess the kids don't water the lawn. Then maybe that plant will get more water.

I try to water my aloe vera at least once a week. I usually do that when I water down my vehicles. I do that to knock off the dust that settles on the vehicles and when I do that I come around to my aloe vera plants to give them water.

So the aloe vera can be used as food, but if you don't want any of its laxative effects peel off the skin. If you do want its laxative effects then do eat the leaf whole. I read this on the internet somewhere.

Of course this plant is good for cuts and bruises. Just cut off a piece of a leaf and squeeze its insides on the cut or bruise. When I do cut a finger I go to my aloe vera plants and do just that.

It is good to know that I have some first aid stuff growing at my place.

I don't plant my aloe vera in the ground as it can spread and maybe I will have too much aloe vera. So I just grow them in pots. I guess if I ate them regularly then I might plant them in the ground, but since I don't use it that often, I will just have them in pots.

So this plant with its healing leaves are ready to blossom. I will look forward to that.

Let's end with a scripture. As it is written, In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, the tree of life, which bare twelve fruits, yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:2.
