Yes, I stopped by at my mom's place and I seen a cat lying on the street. I thought, Oh no, a cat must have gotten run over by a car. Then I looked closer, it was still breathing.

I told my mom about the cat, and my mom wanted to see the cat. I asked her for some gloves as I should at least get the cat out of the street before someone else runs over it again.

So I picked up the cat, that seemed to be knocked out. I think by the look of the cat that it was hit in the face, by a car. So I picked up the cat and brought it to my moms front lawn. I think my mom went in the house to get something and I was petting the cat really softly.

Then the cat gained consciousness and looked at me, then I guess it remembered that it was a feral cat that doesn't like strangers to touch it. Then it ran away. It did run away like it was limping, but for a cat that got run over, it seemed pretty strong. I hope that it was OK.

I am guessing that the cat ran to my mom's backyard as my mom likes to feed the feral cats that come by. Later on, I asked my mom, if that cat came over to eat the food that she put out for the evening, but that cat didn't show up.

I am afraid that maybe the cat my just find a place to die, or maybe the cat is just staying away for now and trying to heal. Did you ever feel so sick that you didn't want to eat?

Maybe the cat is in a healing mode, where it is fasting and in fasting the body can repair itself faster than if it was eating.

I just read an article from Journal of Public Health and Nutrition with an article called, Fasting can heal the human organism of disease and reverse the ageing process, by Michele d Moore. Well doesn't that make sense to fast when the body is injured as this way the body doesn't have to deal with putting a lot of energy to digestion and instead putting a lot of energy toward healing and eliminating certain wastes.

Well, it is an interesting article and would be well worth reading.

So as of right now. I don't know the condition of the cat that got run over, then gained consciousness then ran away. I do praise God that it was still alive at the time and I hope that the cat will show up again.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; Ecclesiastes 3:3.
