Here I am at my dialysis session, the video was taken a few minutes before the completion of my dialysis session. I just thought of taking a video of my dialyzer and the blood pump where you can determine with every quiver of the blood lines. The dialyzer is the long cylindrical thing in this video where the blood lines are attached to. It is a kind of highflux dialyzer where it just cleans better because it has bigger holes where bigger molecule uric acid, and bigger molecule toxins can pass through easily.

My blood pump is set to 250 mL per minute which is a maximum for my dialysis center but sometimes a patient from the US would visit this center to get dialyzed here and he would ask the nurses to put the blood pump at 450 mL per minute because in the US the medical standards there is different than here.

Soon I will request for a much faster blood pump about 25 mL at a time until I can achieve the settings that I can endure since I am the one now who is telling the nurses what setting that they would do because I am now giving them a waiver letter that states that if I would get a complication like having my BP to crash at any time of my session, they will cut the treatment, that was the stupid deal that I agreed upon from my nurses just for me to get some decent blood cleaning and outtake of fluids from my system.

Anyway I am using the dialysis machine in my right side which is the machine for infectious patients, the ones with Hepatitis virus(es) in them so that other patients would not get infected. I once only had Hepatitis B but maybe because my dialyzer is mixed with patients with Hepatitis C when they clean our dialyzers well that might be the cause. I can no longer cry about it because it is here in my body and I just have to deal with it or just pray that it would not cause me to succumb with its long-term effects in my body particularly about my liver.

I just hope that my vitamin C intake would yield a positive result about my infection. My last liver function test was still okay but it was years ago and I just have to check again if my SGPT and SGOT are elevated and so if they are then my liver is already in its downward spiral demise. But maybe Vitamin C works to protect the liver so I will be so surprised if those tests would tell me a good result if I were to be tested again, I will just continue to take Vitamin C because with my kidney condition I am in effect is getting megadoses of it because I have no way to excrete its excesses from my body if not from my dialysis.
