Priyanarc got scammed?

Fame brings in a lot of hate and jealousy. Not to mention, a lot of people want to capitalize on your work. Such an incident happened recently.

A few months back I remember some of the top dtubers were victims of getting their videos stolen. Some mischievous person literally stole dtube videos and uploaded them to dailymotion as their own. This is really bad because not only is it disrespectful to the owner and their freedom of choice when it comes to the platform and way of distribution, but it also is stealing their hard work and capitalizing on the stolen work. This was later brought to the notice of the dtubers and action was taken.

Copyright infringement is no joke. Piracy is not cool. Stealing someone's work, wether digital or physical is equally as disgusting and lazy.
Today, as usual, pri and I were going about watching her work. All of a sudden she stumbles upon a beautifully curated youtube channel filled with her twitter videos. She and I were pretty crazy twitter video uploaders and used to go on and about various things related to steem. Someone stole those and uploaded them as theirs and even used pris name for the channel.

Now pri is a bit slow or maybe a bit too merciful. But I got her to report the channel and strike it with copyright infringement. However, knowing youtube, my hopes aren't too high.

I am guiding her filing the complaint as I write this post with a pitiful grin dedicated to the dirty theif.

Maybe the theif wanted to capitalize on her growing success, maybe use her face for popularity or easy views, or maybe this is a very weird way of showing appreciation.
Still, not cool.
