Hoping to by a car with steem? Why? Memories 😉

Hello steemians!

Throwing this out there for your opinions/feedback.

At the beginning of the year I stated a goal to contribute as much as I can to steem. To help out other steemians as much as possible and in the process see how much steem I can accumulate.

At the start of the year I had a balance of 339.730 steem. At the moment I have managed to aquire (with everyones help), an additional 148 steem! Very very pleased with the result. Thank you everyone!

I have decided to alter my goal a little bit. 😉 This is where you come in, well, your opinions anyway.

What do you think my chances are of earning enough steem by December to buy one of these?

Now the first thing most of you will likely ask is "Why on earth would you want one if those"?

The answer is memories. Some of the best times of my life involved this little car. Almost 20 years ago now lol. No it isn't a midlife crisis lol. Well... maybe a little.

Back then I was very happy. I had a fiancee, a lovely little soon to be step child who already called me dad, good job, nice car, bright future. Then an annoying little thing called mental illness raised its head. Very soon I was without everything I mentioned above.

It was mostly my fault. I didn't handle my illness well at all and if I hadnt met my now wife I doubt I would be here. I owe her everything. I love my wife and I will never leave her, but I am also somewhat perturbed by the memory of the little girl whos life I missed out on.

Recently I drew a portrait called little lady that you will find on my steem blog. I dropped a copy of this off to the young ladies grandmother's house, a few weeks before her 21st birthday. I didn't expect to hear anything from them regarding it, as it was for me as much as them. I mostly wanted her to know I had never forgotten about her. It did trigger a lot of memories that I had tried hard to forget but one of the better ones was of a smiling little child sitting in the back of my old black Celica.

Thus I have decided to alter my goal a little. Yes I plan to relive some old memories a bit. No matter what I do I can never make up everything I have missed out on, in fact I am certain that my absence was the best thing for my exs child as I wasn't her real dad.

That does not mean I no longer want to remember as many of the good times with her as I can. This silly little car would help a lot towards that goal. 😉 Lets see how we go!

P.S. sorry for the long winded explanation but I wasnt sure how else to explain it lol. I look forward to seeing your comments.

And yes I could just buy one, but where is the fun in that??? 🤣🤣
