Hunting Down A Package That Was Delivered Today. Said Delivered To Front Door! FAIL!!!

Got a delivery today from UPS! The driver was Josh from what the local customer service person from UPS told me. It said it was delivered to the front door, according to tracking info on the UPS site. I am wondering if you see a front door here anywhere? The first front door is 300 or so yards into the property. The chain that we put across the driveway is open and has been open three days now because we were expecting Christmas packages. His excuse was also the chain was up and blocked the driveway.

I am guessing pulled up threw the package out and left! I guess this is what you get when you hire temp drivers that do not care. The regular driver that delivers here does not do this if it was the regular driver or the temp driver. Shame on you! I am wondering how many other people this has happened to this holiday season. If this has been something you experienced with UPS or FedEx or whichever service that delivers your packages, let us know in the comments below!

They have been doing that to us also! We are the same distance from the road, but there's no gate, etc. They've always delivered to the house before. But the last couple weeks we find the UPS packages under the sign in the snow. Sigh.....

He said the chain was up across the driveway, I got to looking at it and you can see where he came in to turn around in the first drive past the chain. I guess what makes me the madest is that he lied about things. Just doing the bare minimum to make a buck.

We just get alerts that we weren’t home so they couldn’t deliver it. When we have been home all day... smh

Yeah, it is just a way to half-ass their job. They want to get home so put customers on the back burner.

Our deliveries have to be signed for, message is sent on the day before delivery alerting you of the arrival.
