Hobbies - do you have any?
Hi,
today I realized that I almost got no more hobbies. I had a discussion with a customer, a nice chat, when that person asked me about my hobbies. It was hard to answer, as I could say reading, history, traveling, but it would have not been from the heart, as I read a lot but mostly to build up knowledge, by reading I learn history and I do travel for work.
So that person started to say about her hobbies, which have been interesting, flute playing and ice skating.
I can say music, as I like it, but I'm not a singer or an instrument player, I just enjoy the sound. So it might qualify with dancing as 5-6 years ago I was hitting the clubs. Now I've kind of chilled and very rare hit a club and this is mostly for networking and work.
I figured out that I really don't have a passion now, besides following my targets. This is my addiction, to check the steps done towards my targets. My free time, if I can tell it like that, is dedicated to the family.
I like sports, but to play not to watch. I haven't watched a football game in ages, even if I'm mostly up to date with the happenings due to the radio in the car.
I did car racing before, now I want to have a comfortable car which also needs to be safe. 10 years ago I was driving cabrio coupes and supercharged monsters.
Ehh..this priorities.
So, I'm still buffed that I don't have any hobbies. I shall put writing on Steem as a hobby, as this the most me time I have on a daily basis...
So do you have any hobbies? Or are like me, a person who hardly can spot one.

I have some. For example reading. Mostly fantasy books.
If you are looking for good fantasy books, then I would like to suggest the books of Jess E. Owen. The Summer King Chronicles. It is currently a 5 book series. One of my favorite book series. I have the first 4 in signed hardcover. I have the fifth book of the series in paperback. I also like to read Hungarian books, because I am Hungarian. This includes both Hungarian books and books translated to Hungarian. Another hobby of mine is to listening to music, watching videos, movies, TV and movie series. Amateur radio is also my hobby, but nowadays I am not practicing it very actively. Mainly because of the lack of means to put out an antenna. I currently do not have a portable transceiver, but maybe I will have one in the future.

I go to camping once every month
Definitely surfing since more than 5 years now. Having a sport as a hobby is such a great benefit since you don’t have to do sport anymore. Surfing keeps me fit and strong and always clears my mind.
