My Investment Alternatives

Being an investor from Bangladesh i have a limited number of options to invest my capital. Here there are lack of global payment methods like paypal. So its tough to think of international investment sector. Because with lack of opportunities to withdraw or invest, makes it difficult to get cryptocurrency and other foreign blockchain based digital currencies investment. I can invest there with some other intermediate channels. But in this case costing for sending and receiving is huge. And sometimes with incuring the government tax and vat, its very loss of fund to make a cash at hand. So its huge obstacle to invest from here.

Below are some best options in my case

  • Commercial Bank (in the form of deposit)
  • Government Bonds
  • Share Market
  • Local Lending
  • Buying Product
  • Investing with friends combine into business
  • Cryptocurrencies

Facility and Drawbacks of Each

Commercial banks:

Its secured but ROI is only 4-7%.

Government Bonds:

This is interest based so i don't go for it although its paid about 13% per annum.

Share Market:

Share market size is huge. But in recent time, big players played a crucial role in the form of market collpse. So its not secured investment. Some companies may violate the market conditons, so its not better option for me, i think.

Local Lending:

Local lending to friends or family members is without any financial benefits. So without excess fund its not suitable for me.

Buying Product:

Buying demandable product is not easy tast. It needs space, analysis and maintenance time. As i have not enough time on my hand, as want not to buy space for the product store, i will not go for it right now.

Investing combine with friends

Trust is very much needed in investment case. So where i can't spend time or decide solely any decision, i shall not go for it.

Finally Cryptocurrency

I had no idea about this in the this time of last year. But now i am very much conscious about this investment. If i think of steem i can make about 20% ROI. With some effort i can make more. Although there are possibilities of price change, and exchange problem from bangladesh, i should try for it.
In My current portfolio, i have invested 70 % into Commercial Banks and rest 30% into cryptocurrency. In the end of this year, i want to make it 50-50. And in upcoming year 80% into cryptos and rest into others because crypto is more profitable than others. Hope by this time, some exchanges will start work here. Or by the way i shall find best way to exchange quickly from and into cryptos.

I like cryptos. If i had opportunity and facilities (except drawbacks mentioned above in case of cryptocurrency) from here, i would invest 90% of my portfolio into cryptocurrencies. But i have decided not to withdraw from my earning or investment into crypto currencies for next couple of years. That means i shall reinvest my earning again into cryptos for next couple of years. Thus with the high return of investment i can make some extra money in the form of crypto. And when after a long time i withdraw my investment, it will be huge.

Thanks for stopping by. Keep on investing. Thanks @steemleo for arranging contest.
