Enjoying the Crypto Glow (For as Long as it Lasts)

It's been a fair old journey that we've been on over this bear market or the 'accumulation phase', as some like to call it. Jan 2018 was a long time ago, or it sure feels like it!

The good news is that things seem to be hotting up again now.

Once again, there's a spring in our crypto step. An excited feeling like we're at the beginning of something that could be great.

I last had this feeling back in late 2017... 🤔

A time when all was well with the world. There was a potential and unexpected escape route from the day-to-day. We were holding potentially jackpot winning lottery tickets.

But how quickly it all ended...

The sudden blow off top was met with clogged up exchanges and the numbers on our screens were simply that - digital numbers that evaporated as quickly (in fact quicker) than they built up. Sure, some did great but I suspect that lots were left wondering exactly what just happened..

I was quite late to the party in 2017 so I didn't have much to lose (on paper) but it was still galling to see 90% drops. Left holding the bags.

I just wonder how long the crypto golden glow will last this time around?

Some say until September this year. If it's like 2017 it would last until Jan next year. It could go on much longer or shorter.

The truth is - nobody knows.

I've enjoyed watching Bob Loukas's 4 Year Journey - if you haven't watched these videos, they're well worth watching. Very well explained and not sensationalist. His view is that it should all blow out by the end of this year and into next.

All in all, I am enjoying the current positive crypto vibe and I'll be sad to see it blow out over the next (potentially) 9-12 months if that's all it takes. It's a long accumulation phase for just 12 months of euphoria (we hope!).

Let's keep on enjoying this crypto glow for as long as it lasts (and ideally have a plan) ...
