BRO token dividends are changing - Will your APR + or -

Hello everyone, today we are going to look into our investment of BRO tokens from the Brofund. Normally SPinvest will stay clear of HE tokens as an investment because most lose money and liquidity is always a problem when wanting to buy are sell large amounts. To date, BRO tokens are the only HE tokens that SPinvest has spent HIVE on to acquire which says alot about my faith in the project and it's future.

We first invested into BRO when the tokens were on sell for 2 HIVE each. We got around 1500 at 2 HIVE, directly swapped 2000 SPI's for BRO's and then bought another 500 at 3 HIVE each to give us a balance of 4000 BRO making us 1 of the top holders. The price is currently at 5 HIVE each giving our bag a value of around 20,000 HIVE. Not to bad for an 8500 HIVE investment 5 months back.

The daily dividends are insane!!

In short, BroFund uses it's liquid HIVE to buy up huge amounts of HE token miners from all tribes. These miners produce massive earnings for the fund. It also has a top 10 dcity attached which pays out over 150 HIVE a day and has many other small passive incomes streams. It's a very HIVE focused fund and they go heavy.

Dividends are changing so im making this post to show the changes in ROI from before and after. Right now, daily dividends are paid in liquid HIVE and some LEO but starting today dividends will be paid in all the tribe tokens earned by BroFund. See from the list below.

Alot of these tokens are tokens that SPinvest has no interest in so we will be selling off all of them every week on Fridays before I do the weekly reports. By selling all the HE tokens we receive from brofundholdings we can give a good ballpark figure on weather ROI increases are decreases in terms of HIVE after the dividend payment change.

You might be thinking we could curate are hold them but look at the performance of Neo and Pal over the past year, our bags get bigger but they are worth less every week. Im not saying they are shit projects but 80% of the list above are shit investments so SPinvet will be selling them all off. Another thing I should add is I think, just my thoughts but I think this list will grow as brofund goes into new investments so that's just something to keep in mind as well because that could happen.

The idea of paying out dividends in more than 1 token is something I have thought about for SPinvest so it will nice to see how its plays out 1st hand (free market research). I think it will be a success as it offers BRO tokens holders a piece of many pies without having to be directly invested. Innovation is the driver to success.

Currently, we receive 11.839 HIVE every day for holding 4000 BRO. The total cost for us was 8500 HIVE so using the magic of numbers we can work out BRO token pay us an APR of 51% per year on our investment. Not everyone receive's a 51% APR, ours is high because most of our investment was done when the token was 2 HIVE each. If you buy tokens now at 5 HIVE, your APR would be closer to 21% which is still pretty good. The best thing about BroFund is their consistency, every day without fail, these daily dividends come in and the operators are very active in increasing the funds total worth.

Next Week

Next Sunday I will release a post to show the difference in APR received. There are a few BRO investors that are worried their dividends are going to be worth less but i think the opposite and they will be worth more if converted into HIVE on a weekly basis.
