Sunny Day
By the ocean, a calm scenery. A different image to that offered by our financial markets.

My response:
Had to change the fan belt on my VX the other day. $43.
That was at Supercheap Auto too. Hate to think how much I'd pay elsewhere.
Been a while since I've had enough entries to use my prize draw 👍
My currency inflating - Well my USD (United States Dollar) definitely buys less than they did in the past. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_dollar#Value This is because we aren't pegged to gold like we were 50 years ago. Now we're just a fiat currency which has value because everyone still wants it.
Another example is #Hive. It's an inflationary currency because close to 10% more of it has been created out of thin air every year. All things being equal, this leads to a lower price over time. But demand fluctuates and supply available on exchanges also changes. So the price has varied 100x from 7 cents to 7 dollars (obviously referring to Hive and its predecessor which we don't talk about on here!)
My investments where price is the same but value declined - My answer would be Money market and bank accounts. The price never changes - I get a dollar out for each dollar I put in. But interest yield is very low and prices in dollar terms have risen, so the value per dollar has decreased.
The scenery in your excellent picture is beautiful! I'm coming to visit. :D
Well I would like to, anyway. But you're rather far away! :)
