Brick or Treat!! - Tasmanian Brick Enthusiasts - October Monthly Build Challenge

avatar

Every month, our local LUG (Lego User Group) holds a monthly challenge where members are invited to make a small build to meet a specific criteria.

Our theme this month was Halloween - No surprises here really. We were required to build a Halloween themed creation of our choice....

There wasn't a lot of members in attendance this week, so there aren't heaps, but these are the submissions so far (we occasionally get late entries from Members who were unable to attend our weekly build night that week). - All photos taken by me, with my Samsung Galaxy S10.

Creepy looking little bat - simple, yet effective build.

Halloween House - Complete with spiders, skeletons and the Hidden Side ghost dog!!!

Micro Zombies - Not sure about the drawn on faces, but hey, an entry is an entry.

Halloween is a polarizing subject in Australia, particularly the Trick or Treating side of things. It would seem that this builder is firmly in the camp that it is not an Australian tradition and has no place here.

So which once is your favourite??? Until next time, Leg Godt - Play Well

I love the bat. The little fangs really make it.

I agree, and the fact that they are two slightly different sizes gives it the perfect amount of eccentricity.

I actually kinda like the mini zombies with drawn on faces :) The bat is cool as well. Fun to see these. Cheers

The builder of the micro zombies did tell me that she was in a hurry when she planned and built the model. The faces add character, though some Lego purists may not be as forgiving.
