Kaleidoscoping and druglording

I told you that I would be making more of these kaleidoscopish images.

I've been watching the series El Chapo from Netflix. Two episodes now. Before that every available season of Narcos: Mexico and before that all seasons of Narcos.

I was just wondering if it's very stressful to be in drug business or to be a drug lord. Every day you have to worry if you or someone you care about, or your family (if your family isn't included in the loved ones) dies by someones hands. Or gets tortured. I assume that's stressful and a sure way to get an ulcer or two.

I couldn't do it. Not for one second. But then again I guess it's the certain kind of people who go in to druglording business. That's what drug lords do. Druglording. It includes everything they do in one word, not just drug trafficking.

I wonder if being a drug lord is more stressful than working in any of the top three most stressful jobs? https://www.careeraddict.com/stressful-jobs

  1. Military personnel
  2. Firefighter
  3. Airline pilot

Most of these try to keep people alive. Soldiers depending on different things. Still they too, when killing people, hopefully think they are doing it to save the lives of others. Do bad things to save good people. Kill few to save lives of many. So the stress part comes from trying to save lives of those who are in danger and killing even if it's against your beliefs, not only trying to keep everyone around you alive. Worrying that someone could turn on you at any moment because of who you are and what you do. That has to be stressful for a person who doesn't want anyone to die. Especially good people. Assuming there aren't that many firefighters or pilots who actually want to eliminate their co-workers or competitors. Soldiers again depending on various things.

Drug lords are different. Based on three series on Netflix, it appears that they have different perception of what's morally right and what's not. Different than you and me that is. Perhaps I should leave the word you away from that previous sentence because I have no idea who's reading this and where this article will be shared by others in the future. You there reading this might be a drug lord. And if you ask someone not familiar at all with cryptocurrency or the people who use it, we are all drug lords here in Steem.

--> Different than you and me that is.

Although I could never be a drug lord because of the stress and all that other stuff that is included to the job, I'm beginning to think that perhaps being a drug lord isn't more stressful profession than the most stressful jobs top three. Think of it this way: who and what kind of people are those who choose druglording? Perhaps they are the kind who really, really, really like what they are doing. All the killing, drug trafficking, bribery and conniving. So they have no ulcer problems. They have better stress tolerance. And the ones that don't, are eliminated early on their career. Just like firefighters, pilots, military or healthcare personnel. Not ELIMINATED eliminated but kindly told that perhaps they should choose another career.

To get more accurate perception on the most stressful jobs out there, there first has to be big enough sampling of people who all have done all the jobs possible and then make them evaluate all the professions and put those in order according to the stress level of each profession.

I have one more thing for you to think about. If you are not convinced that the profession of a drug lord perhaps isn't as stressful as the top three jobs.

If put in to an ultimate situation, in to a dead end where there are almost none or just few options and all of those seem to be just as bad, there's always one solution to a drug lord that (hopefully) never is an option to all the others. Killing everyone, good and bad people. And ending up even higher in rank than ever before.

Perhaps a drug lord might think differently about the most stressful job in the world. A job as an artist who can do what ever they like, when ever they like, could be really stressful to a drug lord. No killing of innocent people. No blackmailing of politicians. Just choosing colors and shapes. Combining things creatively. Doing things the way we artists, you and I do. Perhaps I should leave the word you away from that previous sentence because I have no idea what kind of an artist you are and what you do every day to achieve the things you do.

--> Doing things the way we artists, you and I do.

Druglording ain't all that bad, how fun must blackmailing politicians be since they are more vile than Druglords. I don't think they get much credit for the good they do by assassinating politicians maybe.

Still not a job I would like because it involves dealing with people and someone is always going to fuck up something.

But there's one good thing in druglording. You get to kill those people. Something that isn't suitable if encountering stupid people when working in customer service.
