Started moving tools out to the homestead today...got to get my truck finished, LOL!
Loaded up my car with the tools needed at the homestead, and it quickly became obvious how much I need to finish my truck repairs!
Here was the inside of my car after I got it loaded.
I was sitting in front of the generator, next to the ladder; without enough room for a passenger, to help me unload.
Not a fun day, LOL!
On top of this, the trunk was full too....
It was hard to unload by myself, but it was good progress today.
One last view of an overloaded car:
I have a full sized truck under repair, getting close to back on the road. I will replace the brake caliper a second time, and have to fix a roll pin inside the transmission, to finish this truck! Maybe 30 more hours on wrenches to finish ( I will have to pull the transmission ); but it is a strong truck, in need of a workout.
I got the tag on the travel trailer today, so I plan to tow it (with a borrowed truck) out to the homestead tomorrow!
Wish me luck!
Lol I have had loads like that in car's before. May you have safe travels tomorrow.
It is a 28 foot travel trailer, so I can take her with me; and have her safe in the travel trailer, while I do repairs!

Packed in like sardines.
True, but it worked! We got the travel trailer moved and set yesterday, so we are closer to moving each day!
♡♡♡♡♡
Nice. Isn't it good to be actively moving in the right direction.
I've been so busy this week, I lost a day, LOL! But we return the truck we rebuilt to the single Mom from church tomorrow. I will be ready to get rid of that pain in the posterior!
It was supposed to just need a clutch. We added a transmission, a fuel pump, a sending unit for gas level, a new fuel filter, a new tank filler neck, full new high tension system (x2), 8 new plugs, exhaust pressure sensor, exhaust line repair, radiator clean and flush, new expansion valve, AC system repair and recharge, and we had to to remove the gas tank for cleaning.
I am tired of that truck, LOL! Now I can start the repair on my own truck, I need to move materials out to the homestead.
:-)
Might have been easier to buy here a new truck, you just about built one! Lol.
I remember you starting this project, was quite a while ago and I'm sure you'll be glad to see the end of it.
No good deed goes unpunished, ROFLOL! Simple clutch replacement...almost.
This was THE Worst mess I have ever run into!
:'(
You'd do it again if asked...That's the sort of bloke you are.
Deacon's are servants, and she is a single Mother from Church. So likely I would. The next truck repair is my own....
:'(
Another saga! Lol.
Sadly true, LOL; but at least it won't be boring....
