It gets harder each week to choose which posts to feature. That is a good thing as that means the community and content is growing. From now on @super-irie will be giving his input on the JAHMIN posts of the week. With his help we will consolidate and present these posts to you.

Each week, we choose posts that we really feel stood out and had exceptional quality. In no particular order, here are the JAHMIN posts of the week.

Dec 9-15th

Jester - I Wanna Freedom by @albertjester

@albertjester shows us a live performance of his band called Jester singing their song called "I wanna Freedom". The background stories makes the song even more meaningful. Here is another performance at surf event he posted recently as well.

@missaj shows us his foodings and gives us an oxtail recipe we can try at home. Note: You will probably need a pressure cooker.*

@josevas217 gives us the details on Reggae in Columbia and talks about some of the artists from Jamaica who tour there. He also showcases two prominent local act.

Reggae Music Around The World: Japan - Inspired by @crypticat by @conradsuperb

@conradsuperb did an excellent write up about the history of Reggae in Japan and showcased the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.

Miss Jamaica Wins 2019 Miss World by @crypticat

@crypticat did something we hope many will follow and that is post up the latest in BIG news about Jamaica/ and the Caribbean as soon as it is out.

Ackee National Fruit of Jamaica by @mariluna

@mariluna gives a very informative post about Ackee. She didn't miss a beat. She did many great posts this week including this one about Busta Candy.

Negril, Jamaica, Feature Photo #20 by @super-irie

@super-irie continues to pump out those Negril pictures in these short but incredibly insightful post series. Check out this post abiut the glass bottom boat owner.

Savanna la Mar - JAHM Poetry by @chireerocks

@chireerocks continues his JAHM poetry series this time writing about Savana la mar. The format and detailed info makes this series valuable for anyone wanting to know the history and present of the parishes in Jamaica.

The Gentlemen's Room. Micro Story of Terror. by @jadnven

@jadnven writes very well and its is interesting how Jadnven incorporates Jamaican history into this fictitious story.

ReggaSteem has started an on-boarding initiative lead by @conradsuperb. The goal is to onboard Caribbean nationals or persons who have any relation to the region. Delegation opportunities and liquid JAHM incentives abound. Read more here.
