I continue with the SKA for you, in Jamaica where it was created was considered as traditional or typical. The Ska went through several stages that they call it Oleadas or Olas, three to be exact, here I will talk about the third of them, so watch out.

Third Wave from Ska- 1980's to present

And then comes the '80s. Exactly for 1981-82 an English immigrant called Bucket, arrives in the United States, veteran of the era of 2-tone. Little by little he makes contacts until he creates the third most influential band of the Ska, The Toasters,.

Those who lead what later became known as the 3rd wave of ska, which continues to the present. In the mid-1980s onwards, ska became internationalized. New bands are formed in the world: Hawaii, Australia, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain.

The ska of this wave is characterized by being faster than the 2-tone. The bands use very little musical instruments from the wind sections, they concentrate more creating sticky party songs, whose content moves away from any kind of political theme, staying on themes such as beer, parties, etc.

Here again another video with Ska music, is very good for dancing.

There is only one entry left to close the chapter on the SKA musical trend.
