Piwi, recovering a little from the ailments, tells Guyan about what happened with his parents, the brown cuckoo replies that he is also an orphan and that he is the only one in his family who has lived in the forest for a long time. Guyan takes Piwi and takes him to a community of birds to take care of the wounds, they arrive alarmed to where Shami, a hummingbird doctor Streamertail with abilities in natural medicine, after attending Piwi, is replaced with a small sheet of marijuana that Shami placed to protect his sore wing.

The leader of the streamertail Jahvil, decides to summon Piwi for a conference with all the birds of the place to attend his case.

Piwi rises to the highest branch of the tree where they were gathered, from there he began his speech explaining his situation.

-My predecessors have been victims of predators, until yesterday we were only four members of our species, but today those murderers have killed my parents and I only have my grandfather as a company! I could not stay cross-legged, I need to take revenge on those predators and keep my family safe! - We can't live like this! Piwi continues.

Jahvil, hearing the strong and emotional speech of Piwi, decides to congregate the community again to attack those predators that roam their forests. Jahvil tells the strengths of the hawks and recommends moving away from his teeth and nails.

At dawn all the birds come out singing as usual, an elegant reggae with natural sound. Suddenly, a shadow walks through the trees, revealing the figure of a giant bird. Piwi attentive, begins to attract the attention of leader Jahvil to stop the intentions of his attacker. In a few minutes all the birds of the forest gathered and fly towards the hawk that is stalking them.

The hawk, decides to attack when seeing the small bird Piwi, from the forest the agglomerated birds are shown, the hawk stops and seeks to attack the group of birds, the hummingbirds taking advantage of their speed manage to dodge the attacks of the hawk until pecking it all over body, the Jamaican owl joins in the fight. After the fierce attack of the birds, the hawk falls to the ground.

Piwi, on an accurate flight goes directly to the injured hawk, Jahvil deliberately yells at Piwi. - Stop! - We are not murderers like them!
Piwi, stops a little upset, and responds to Jahvil. - I can't leave him alive, he killed my parents! ..
Jahvil responds to him as a sage that he is, -small, if we kill him, others will come, but if we let him go, he will warn others that the birds are united to face them and they will never return!

Piwi, understood the message of his leader and decides to let go of the hawk. As they left, all the birds burst with excitement as they accomplished such a feat while sighing after the great fear they came to feel.

This is a small literary exercise, this time taking as reference a historical character of the Jamaican community. I invite you to promote good literature. As you practice and write more, it will become easier for you to do so.
