Hola amigos de ReggaeSteem, el sábado pasado me subí a un autobus para trasladarme a dar clases de música al poblado de Campeche en la ciudad de Cumaná, y al sentarme en uno de los asientos y al levantar la vista, observé esta imagen de Robert Nesta Marley mejor conocido como: Bob Marley

Entonces pensé en hacer una publicación sobre este gran hombre de la música y la imagen de su país en el mundo. Nace un 6 de Febrero de 1945 en Nine Mile, Saint Ann, en la isla de Jamaica, compositor y guitarrista y cantante. Desde muy joven fué morivo de burlas y desplantes por ser mulato o meztiza ya que era hijo de una afro-caribeña y un hombre blanco, el resultó ser de un color de piel bastante claro, pero el decidió llamarse negro y se identificaba mas con las personas de esta condición que las blancas. Su madre decide mudarse a Kingston, entonces allí enpieza su inclinación por la música e inicia estudios de canto con el músico venido a menos Joe Higgs. Crea las bandas The Wailers y Bob Marley and the Wailers y compone muchas canciones empieza a grabar discos. Contribuye en la difusión del movimiento Rastafari (Movimiento Espiritual Jamaiquino). Bob Marley fallece en Estados Unidos a la edad de 36 años de un Melanoma. Tuvo 13 hijos, y aun en la actualidad es el máximo ecponente del Reggae en el mundo entero.
