Good News about Narrative

Come previsto ieri sera, a poche ore dallo shutdown di Narrative a me, come a tutti gli utenti, è arrivata questa mail:

Narrative Members,

We are pleased to announce that a new company, formed by current Narrative members Zach (aka Banter), Natalia (aka Serroc), and Malcolm (aka Malkazoid), has purchased certain Narrative assets, including the databases holding the current state of the platform, with the intent of relaunching the network under their management/direction. Narrative Company will not be involved with this new company, or in the management of the network in any way.

Here is a message from the new owners: “When we relaunch the platform, you will be able to reclaim your existing Narrative accounts. Niches, publications, and content will remain intact, but you will need to sign in using your existing Narrative credentials. Of note, the Narrative codebase remains available via Open Source. You can find it here:

We’re extremely pleased that the network will be returning under new ownership and certainly wish everyone involved in the effort the best of luck. The ideals associated with Narrative are still very important to us and we’re thrilled that the project will resume, hopefully in even better form.

This is our final message to members of Narrative, which will sunset as scheduled on Friday, January 24th. The new owners will share the date when they launch their version of the network in the future. Please direct all questions about their plans to them, since we have no insight or involvement in that project.

A chi è interessato non resta quindi che attendere i prossimi svilupppi segnalando la propria email seguendo il link presente nella mail.

I nuovi "proprietari" della piattaforma assicurano che continuerà ad essere utilizzato il token proprietario NRVE e tutti i contenuti attualmente presenti sulla piattaforma verranno mantenuti nella nuova versione.

Altro punto interessante è la volontà che il nuovo Narrative tenga conto dei moltissimi suggerimenti per migliorare la piattaforma che la vecchia proprietà aveva sempre ignorato.

A questo punto non resta che attendere...
