Changing Strategy In My Investments
For the last 2 months, ever since July, there are now 44 New SCOT Tribes on the Steem blockchain.
Many of us get to find out about new tribes coming up when they airdrop tokens onto our wallets.
In the past, I would stake all these tokens that have been airdropped and then go to their sites and discord channels to participate to see how to help their platform grow.
2 months have passed now, and I find myself busy as ever every morning when I turn on the computer.
While it is nice to have all these notifications from Steem-Engine to claim so many tokens, I find myself spending hours sorting out all my tokens trying to figure out what to do with them.
Every morning and night, I am stuck at the Steem-Engine studying the market.
The time has come where I need to make a CHANGE in my strategy regarding all these token investments. I really can't keep up with them and need to streamline my investments.
- Unstake most of my tokens
- Concentrate on only 2 or 3 Tribes
Having had some experiences with the different tribes, we all know that some tribes certainly have more potential than others.
I am so glad I had not taken the trouble to create a new account for each new tribe. This would be too difficult for me to handle and I will go shizophrenic here.
The tribes that I will stick with are those:
- Providing daily / weekly newsletters reports of their tribes
- Providing different weekly curating material
- Founders who communicate with their tribal members
- Founders who actively blog in their tribes by setting examples to follow
With the upcoming change of the HF21, I will blog less and curate more.
Which 2 or 3 tribes are you fully invested in at the present moment?

My favorite tribes are lifestyle, steemleo, and sportstalksocial. Those 3 are my daily visits. Sportstalksocial's token price has been struggling as of late though :-(.

Completely agree that managing so much of tribe is difficult and I even seen people having multiple accounts for tribes but I didn't do. I feel more account divide the focus and I want to focus on only one.
Surely many would shift focus from blogging to curation because it takes less time and we are going to get same reward.

Yes, it's time to refocus for me. Can't branch off to so many.
I agree that the tokens are becoming overwhelming and time-consuming. With the upcoming focus of the hard-fork being a shift to curation, I'm going to actually wait a bit before making any changes.
My thinking is I want to continue supporting the people I enjoy interacting with regularly. They will continue to be my primary focus. With that said what I earn in curation will be based on what tags they use in their posts, so I don't want to make that decision at this point in time.
I know that many people have been rethinking how they will post and interact based on the upcoming hard fork. So, it seems wise to me to what and see. This will also help me determine which tribes might also have the most undervalued posts that will be worthy of being curated.
I have no idea if this is a good plan, it is just my thoughts.
Yes, it is good also to wait and see next Tuesday but also ready to make some changes to see what is best for the platform. Great feedback.

For now, my best 3 picks are Lifestyle, SteemLeo and UpFundMe. I'd have loved to curate NaruralProducts too but I get a better curation share in other tribes so I'm making an exit from there.
