Hija de un venezolano nacido en tierras de Tucupita y una española nacida en Asturias que emigró hace más de sesenta y cinco años a Venezuela. Hermana mayor de seis más, cuatro mujeres, dos hermanos que se fueron al éter: uno hace ya más de veinte años y el otro apenas hace dos años.

Soy venezolana, nacida en Maracaibo estado Zulia, criada en Punto Fijo estado Falcón, y luego me fui a vivir a mi paraíso playero Palma Sola, en el estado Carabobo. Estudié educación en la Universidad de Carabobo, luego, casada, me fui a Caicara del Orinoco (Tierra de la Coroba) a ejercer como esposa, madre y educadora.

I am Venezuelan, born in Maracaibo, Zulia state, raised in Punto Fijo, Falcon state, and then I went to live in my beach paradise Palma Sola, in Carabobo state. I studied education at the University of Carabobo, then, married, I went to Caicara del Orinoco (Land of the Coroba) to work as a wife, mother and educator.

Educadora por 30 años, luego continué dando clases tanto a nivel de pregrado como de postgrado en la UPEL (Universidad Pedagógica El Libertador), en mis correrías en educación fui docente de aula, jefa de Control de Estudios y Evaluación en la institución donde comencé mi peregrinar educativo, luego directora en un liceo bolivariano (Andrés Eloy Blanco) ubicado en la parroquia Los Pijiguaos, Municipio Cedeño del Estado Bolivar, y el Liceo Nocturno “Caicara”, si, transité por los caminos del magisterio venezolano hasta llegar a ser supervisora, pero no hay nada más satisfactorio que dar clases, saber que tú estás haciendo la diferencia en las cabezas de los jóvenes.

Educator for 30 years, then I continued teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level at UPEL (Universidad Pedagógica El Libertador), in my educational career I was a classroom teacher, head of Control of Studies and Evaluation in the institution where I began my educational pilgrimage, Then I was principal in a Bolivarian high school (Andres Eloy Blanco) located in the parish of Los Pijiguaos, Cedeño Municipality of Bolivar State, and the night school "Caicara", yes, I traveled through the roads of the Venezuelan teaching profession until I became a supervisor, but there is nothing more satisfying than teaching, knowing that you are making a difference in the heads of young people.

Lectora, tejedora de crochet, encantada de ir al cine cada vez que se presenta la oportunidad. Y como verán, la pandemia no nos deja hacer muchas cosas. En la lectura soy muy ecléctica: desde Agatha Christie, pasando por El Señor de los Anillos, la Dragonlance, Brandon Sanderson, Eduardo Galeano, hasta Water Risso, cuando un autor me gusta no lo suelto, en estos momentos finalicé la Rueda del Tiempo de Robert Jordan, ya leí por quinta vez El Conde de Montecristo. Amo Pinterest, me encanta ver los álbumes y crear otros.

A reader, a crocheter, I love to go to the movies whenever the opportunity arises. And as you can see, the pandemic doesn't let us do many things. I love Pinterest, I love looking at albums and creating others.

En cuanto a tejer a crochet, cada vez que tengo a oportunidad me encanta tejer encaje de Brujas, me relaja, y en cada puntada que doy voy dejando plasmado un pensamiento.

As for crocheting, every time I have the opportunity I love to crochet Bruges' lace, it relaxes me, and in every stitch I make I leave a thought.

Me encanta ver el amanecer, me encanta ver como atardece, me he sentido invitada de lujo cuando estoy a orillas de una playa y veo cómo se va llenando de arreboles el cielo.

O como cuando vivía en Los Pijiguaos ver como el sol aparecía o desaparecía entre las montañas y la selva, en verdad son experiencias que la llenan de paz y mucha tranquilidad, y hacen que te sientas parte esencial del mundo que te rodea. En Caicara me ocurría igual, hay sitios donde sientes que te desconectas y la paz que llega a ti es increíble.

I love to watch the sunrise, I love to watch the sunset, I have felt like a luxury guest when I am on the shore of a beach and I see how the sky fills with trees. Or as when I lived in Los Pijiguaos to see how the sun appeared or disappeared between the mountains and the jungle, they are truly experiences that fill you with peace and tranquility, and make you feel an essential part of the world around you. In Caicara it was the same for me, there are places where you feel like you disconnect and the peace that comes to you is incredible.

En algún momento de mi vida me gustó escribir y dibujar, pero hay cosas que hacen que dejes a un lado mucho de lo que deseas. Me encanta bailar, soy fanática con mayúscula del Queen, y del buen rock, esa música marcó a mi generación, así que puedes adivinar mi edad, ya tengo un poco más sesenta años. Generación que en el cine vio a Tiburón, Carrie, Stars Wars, Fiebre del Sábado por la Noche, Vaselina, si, viví en una maravillosa época.

At some point in my life I liked to write and draw, but there are things that make you put aside much of what you want. I love to dance, I'm a fan of Queen, and good rock, that music marked my generation, so you can guess my age, I'm already a little over sixty years old. Generation that in the cinema saw Jaws, Carrie, Stars Wars, Saturday Night Fever, Vaseline, yes, I lived in a wonderful time.

¿Y qué decir de los comics? Seguidora de la Mujer Maravilla desde que tengo uso de razón, admiradora de Superman y Batman, luego descubrí Marvel, pero siempre me encantó DC, tengo mucho que contar de todo o que ha pasado en esta vida hermosa y llena de encanto y muchas sorpresas.

Por motivos de enfermedad tuve que venir a Europa y vivo entre España y Alemania, enamorada de este increíble continente, conocí la nieve el 20 de diciembre de 2020 y lo sentí como el regalo más especial que haya podido tener, es maravilloso ver el cambio de las estaciones, pero añoro mi calor venezolano, el cariño de mis hijas y de mi nieto.

For reasons of illness I had to come to Europe and I live between Spain and Germany, in love with this incredible continent, I met the snow on December 20, 2020 and I felt it as the most special gift I could have, it is wonderful to see the change of seasons, but I miss my Venezuelan warmth, the affection of my daughters and my grandson.
