Setibanya Linto Baro dirumah orang tua Dara Baro, maka Seumapa (menyambut) yang merupakan salam pembuka atas kedatangan rombongan Linto akan dimulai. Kedua belah pihak biasanya telah menyiapkan orang yang memiliki keahlian dalam bidang Seumapa.
