Ruin And The Hope For Treasures (Inspired By Imagine/John Lennon)

I was seeking those past years of my life, determined to find many treasures and also hope again.

I lost hope countless times, finding myself in deep shit more than once but I always got myself out of every dark hole I fell in.

"Where there is ruin, there is hope for a treasure" - Rumi

In recent days Rumi's quotes appear more and more in various social media profiles, many of my friends send them to me as well.

Today I got stuck on another incredibly inspiring, powerful quote as well as Bill Johnson's deep reflections and John Lennon's "Imagine".

I got often "ruined" by people, even myself, despair, occasional sadness, hopelessness, pessimism, unpleasant happenings, heartbreaks, too many financial struggles as well as fears and too much anger, I had to conquer daily.

I find myself in countless, emotional ups and annoying downs, followed by mild depression, thinking too much about unfulfilled wishes and dreams. Some of them became true but one of my biggest wishes to write my book is still so far away. Sometimes I wonder why I can’t come up with enough discipline to get it finished. Some blocks stop me. Maybe it’s a form of self sabotage but I have the urge to gift “my” treasure to the world, my loved ones!

Oh Yes! I know that I worry too much that I am not good enough (a typical virgo disease to overthink and my obsessive craving for perfection) and the older I get the more I feel that time is running out. I am held back by so much nonsense I still accept and I am intuitively aware that I am wasting precious energy I could use to focus what's important to reach your goals.

So, however, where are more and more treasures I nevertheless hope finding?

Love is One, I found in myself and it became so much easier to forgive the hurt.
Finally I am not dependent anymore to expect anybody to gift me the most valuable treasure ever.

I still have those hopes that my life will get better and better until its over that it all made sense to choose the path I am walking on. Razors edges maybe!
