How's your Halloween going?😄
Here's my entry for the last day of Inktober 2019, Day 31 with theme "Ripe". This sketch illustrates the harvesting of some ripe fruits using a shear.
I used my black pen and a catridge cardboard paper here. The sketch was a pretty simple I must say and here are the steps taken to creating drawing:

STEP 1

I started by sketching the outline of the fruit and a branch with the pen. I had to be careful here because there was no chance for a mistake since I was using a pen.

I completed drawing the fruit and the shear and began shading.

STEP 2

I used the hatching and cross hatching shading technique to shade the background and fruit respectively. So there it is. My last Inktober drawing for Inktober 2019.☺️

I am so delighted to be a part of Inktober 2019. It's been an amazing, fun filled and exotic experience. I've learnt to be dedicated, consistent, creative, versatile and most of all, I've learnt to be a better artist.

It was nice sharing these daily challenges and topics with other great artists and watching creativity at its peak. Can't wait to a part of Inktober 2020. ☺️☺️☺️
