Inktober - Day 16 Theme: WILD / Inktober- Día 16 - Salvaje

Llego el día numero 16 del reto del inktober donde el tema propuesto es Salvaje. Siempre que pienso en la palabra se me viene a la mente la libertad y también las fieras, esos animales que son tan peligrosos y que viven en la naturaleza. Uno de mis animales preferidos es de hecho el LOBO. Creo que es un animal muy noble y muy feroz pero también muy leal, juguetón y sumamente misterioso. Por eso es que elegí a este animal para retratar en este día.

The 16th day of the inktober challenge has arrived and the proposed theme is "Wild". Whenever I think of this word, freedom comes to mind and also wild animals, those animals that are dangerous and live in nature. One of my favorite animals is in fact the WOLF. I think it is a very noble and very fierce animal but also very loyal, playful and extremely mysterious. That's why I chose this animal to portray on this day.

Process / Proceso



Lo primero que hice fue hacer un sketch de la forma del lobo porque es la manera mas sencilla de darte cuenta donde aplicar mas tinta.

The first thing I did was to sketch the shape of the wolf because it is the easiest way to figure out where to apply more ink.

En este dibujo la parte mas larga del proceso es el pelaje en donde tienes que hacer una serie de trazos suaves y dependiendo de cuan oscura es la parte que quieres retratar tienes que aplicar mas o menos fuerza con el lapicero.

In this case the longest part of the process is drawing the fur where you have to make a series of soft strokes and depending on how dark is the part you want to portray you have to apply more or less force with the pen.

El paso final es poner las sombras con el lapicero.

The final step is to put the shadows with the pen.

Cuando termine de hacer el dibujo me parecio interesante poner un mensaje positivo pero queria utilizar la misma imagen para poner dos mensajes entonces escribi los dos mensajes y corte para colocar un mensaje y tomar una foto y luego tomar otra foto con el otro mensaje.

Los mensajes que puse fueron en ingles porque me parece que suenan bien, uno es :

Stay wild ( Mantente rebelde o Mantente salvaje )

Be wild and free ( Se salvaje y libre o Se rebelde y libre )

When I finished drawing I wanted to put a positive vibe to it with a message but I wanted to use the same image to put two messages so I wrote the two messages separately and cut them to place them on the drawing and take a pictures.

The messages I put were in English because I think they sound good, one is:

Stay wild
Be wild and free
