Inktober is in full effect! Join in the fun!
Time to get some sweet rewards!
It is that time of year again. Time to break out the art supplies and get ready to draw some pretty sweet masterpieces each day for the Inktober Contest.
What is Inktober?
The mastermind behind Inktober has put together this pretty dope video here that explains the whole thing.
Basically you will be drawing a new piece each day throughout the month of October and sharing your drawing that day. Don't worry about trying to come up with ideas for the drawings because each day has a specific prompt for that day. Here is the list of prompts for the entire month of October.
Rules
Now there are a few rules for this contest, but they are pretty simple.
Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
Post it*
Tag it with #inktober, #creativecoin, #oc
Repeat for each different day that you participate
Share to other social media for more rewards
Check out the Official Inktober Website for more information. This is a worldwide event across all forms of social media, so this is a great opportunity to showcase the blockchain as well.
Rewards and Additional Info
We at CreativeCoin have donated 20,000 CCC to the prize pool to be divided amongst the winners throughout the month. We will also be curating the winners with the @creativecoin account. I will be going through the daily submissions and curating with my main account and my @derangedcontests account as well so be sure that you are utilizing the #creativecoin tag to maximize your rewards throughout the month.
Along with the CreativeCoin teams curation efforts, the @ocd and @ocdb team of curators will be going through and voting on the entries as well. We have all come together to form a team of judges for this contest and we are going to be selecting the top entries every week or so (we are still narrowing down the timeframes) and voting the top entries. Those top creators will then be eligible to compete for the super secret grand prize at the end of the month.
Overall, we hope that you all have a great time participating in the Inktober challenge and get your creative juices flowing. We are really looking forward to the awesome works of art that you come up with. Make sure to follow the @ocd and @ocdb accounts for the official results as they are being posted throughout the month.

Hola! ¿Aun es posible participar? ¿se puede publicar en español?
You can still participate. Each day of the month has its own drawing prompt to it. So there are still about 27 posts you can make for it. Refer to the prompt list in the post with the dates and the prompt for that day. Yes you can make your post in Spanish as well.
I think I'm the world's worst slowcoach ~ I'd like to participate in #inktober but is it too late to join in now? I just answered my own question by looking at Jake's website ~ You can share your daily drawings just once a week if you want to. The important thing is to draw.
But the other thing I want to be sure of before starting is that it's ok to set your own themes/prompts. It seems that the given prompts are mainly for anyone who may be a little bit stuck for ideas. So it's ok not to use them? ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
Sorry for the late reply. You are free to use your own prompts if you want for making posts, but we have been judging entries based off of the official prompt list.
Thanks for letting me know @derangedvisions. I haven't started my actual inkings yet. A raw beginner, practicing with my new toys. I may do a combination. Even if I manage to complete one drawing it will be an achievement for me. Have loved seeing many of the ink pieces and how people are working with the prompts and retaining their individual drawing styles. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
I can't wait to see the first entries. Inktober will be great.

I am intending to do a couple of inktobers but besides the official prompt many people follow alt prompts or even their own (which is my case) other years I could do up to ten to twelve, but I injured my hand and I'm taking it as a challenge to retrain, still I won't be participating daily or within the prompt but it makes me happy to see artists participating in it because inktober is FUN!
