Conman In Chief
Or: Trickster in Chief, Robber in Chief, Cheater in Chief, Pirate in Chief, Liar in Chief, Commander in Thievery; Trump can be called any of those, but unfortunately this one man circus IS the Commander in Chief who seems to be able to get away with literally anything... This rant has been a long time coming, so please pardon my French.

This is another reason why the Democrats' strategy of impeachment is futile: Trump gets away with anything. During his presidential campaign he got away with racism, ludicrous plans like a wall on the southern border, making remarks like "I just grab 'm by the pussy" and promising that he would make sure to jail his opponent Hillary Clinton, who by the way is at least as big a criminal as Trump himself; the alternative for that election-round was Con-femme in Chief. But I'm sure Hillary, or anyone else I know of, would not have been able to get away with the amount of stupidity and pure poison coming out of the current Commander in Chief... I mean, this man produces a tweet every hour of every day that would have ended the career of anyone else, but any amount of critique just seems to immediately glide of the back of the slippery slope incarnate.
And it's even worse: Trump still has a large following despite appearing in the news every day exposing his ineptitude to the world. It seems to me that many people still mistake his inability to hide his true feelings and emotions with genuine honesty. Trust me: not being able to compose yourself in front of a camera is something else entirely, it's ineptitude. This man simply isn't able of being honest, he's just very emotional while committing his crimes. True, there's something to be said about his being honest about some of the crimes he commits, because these aren't his own crimes, but the crimes he inherited from his long line of predecessors from both political wings; he's partially open about being War-criminal in Chief, or Imperialist in Chief, or Conqueror in Chief, because that's the American president's normal job. In several previous posts I've tried to explain how the war in the middle east is more than a century old, and that it's just the result of imperialism continued under the flag of capitalism, but still, it's flabbergasting to hear this come straight from the mouth of the current Predator in Chief...
Here's a nice Trump quote to chew on: "... we pulled our soldiers out, we took over the oil, we have soldiers where the oil is, that's the way I like it, and they can police their own borders ..." Isn't that amazing? What's even more amazing to me is the amount of support this poor excuse for an Anything in Chief still has. It is beyond me that so many people with a fully functioning prefrontal cortex still take this clown seriously, and fail to see him for the authoritarian narcissist he is. What is it that makes people accept a compulsive liar as their Conman in Chief? The previous Conmen in Chief can at least say they tried to hide their thievery, and their supporters can rightly claim ignorance on the issue, doubly so if they consume mainstream news alone. But if you're a Trump supporter, you're willingly and knowingly keeping the den of thieves that is the current criminal status quo intact. The corporate ruled Democrats have their own reasons to not fight Trump too hard, they might even prefer to throw away their own chances in the next election to keep him in the Oval Office like I said in yesterday's post, but if you're just a fan, supporter or voter, I can think of precious few reasons why you would still want to be associated with this man in any way, shape or form. And believe me, I'm trying hard to be nice here.
