Police do not have a Constitutional Duty to protect and serve you!

Wanted to bring some attention back to this ruling.

Some of you might be surprised to find out in most cases the Police do not actually have to protect you. Some States might have their own exceptions such as if you are in their custody they have to, but constituionally they really don't have to do that either.

The US Supreme Court has made it clear that law enforcement agencies are not required to provide protection to the citizens who are forced to pay the police for their "services.

In the cases DeShaney vs. Winnebago and Town of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales, the supreme court has ruled that police agencies are not obligated to provide protection of citizens. In other words, police are well within their rights to pick and choose when to intervene to protect the lives and property of others — even when a threat is apparent.

Don't expect a Police Officer to show up in time when seconds matter because they won't.

Don't expect someone else to protect your family because that is your responsibility, and/or other members of your family's responsibility.

Don't expect a Police Officer to risk their life for you because they don't Constitutionally/legally have to in most cases.

Police Officers are sworn to Protect and Serve the State and HAVE to listen to what the government tells them to do. You know, that government we all agree is threatening us with a gun and jail time if we don't pay taxes or obey them? That great moral government who "wants to protect us" by threatening us daily with a myriad of "laws" that will put us in a cage or kill us. The great arbiters of truth and integrity who spy on you daily to make sure you are being a "good citizen"?

Sounds like a psychopathic mafia doesn't it?
