House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member, Devin Nunes; declares legal war on the MSM, for Liable!

Devin Nunes (House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member) has had enough! The First Amendment protects journalists ONLY IF they report the truth! There is No Constitutional protection for lies reported AS truth. He has decided to call them on their publishing of lies that slander him.

CNN has grown sloppy with the real truth, because no one has dared to oppose them for decades! But the legal issue is clear, and he will win easily.

This has been a long time coming; and is overdue. Journalists are SUPPOSED to be critical of ALL politicians, and are supposed to be the Attack dogs of our Republic; that keep them in line in DC! Today our attack dogs have become lap dogs for the DNC, to their Eternal Shame!

Devin Nunes is pissed about being lied about, and is seeking legal damages! I have been waiting for someone to get mad enough to DO something about it....

Nunes told host Sean Hannity the stories were the “mother of all fake news stories” and said five other media outlets had the story but declined to run it.

“For all of the last three years, including the Russia hoax to the Ukraine hoax, this is the mother of all fake news stories. There is not one bigger than this,” Nunes said. “And so next week, we are going to take them to court. They will have an opportunity to come to court so that we can subpoena each other. We can get discovery. We can set people down for depositions. And I have a bet for you, Sean. CNN and The Daily Beast are going to run for cover.”

Nunes predicted both outlets would try to avoid the courts but the congressman vowed to press on.

“At the end of the day, I’m going to track them down and I’m going to hold them accountable because this… has just gone on for too long,” Nunes said. “And this is the only way we’re going to be able to to get retribution and get in and be able to seek fairness and transparency in the media is by holding them accountable.”

In an attempt to sway the impeachment "Inquiry"; it appears that CNN and the Daily Beast have stepped on a journalistic land mine, of their own making! They have forgotten that their only protection is the absolute Truth, now it looks like they will finally be held to account.

Let’s face it, people, CNN has been going beyond doing what they consider to be reporting on Republicans. They have been spreading out and out falsehoods about them. One of them has finally had enough.

House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member and impeachment hearing rockstar, Devin Nunes (R-CA) announced on Friday night that he’s filing a lawsuit against CNN and The Daily Beast for publishing fake news hit pieces accusing him of meeting with a former Ukrainian prosecutor to discuss digging up dirt on former VP Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

Liable is a criminal action, so we will see what this ends up costing them. Personally, I believe that since it was deliberate, and intended specifically to do him and others political harm (NOT an honest mistake); they should throw the book at them! Maximum fine possible, plus retractions and anything else they can come up with!

Published lies are NOT a political tool; and can NEVER become acceptable! Covering for a criminal in office should bring jail time too.

Journalism used to be one of the most trusted and respected professions there was, now I respect a used car salesman more, SMH!
