Colorado finally functions and justice is done, in spite of the liberals in control abusing the local legal system!

Colorado sentenced a Woman to 96 years in Prison, because of an argument with a Man; on a city bus, that resulted in a stabbing. She stabbed a man in his neck which was Not fatal. She was found guilty of attempted murder, and she was sentenced to 99 years in prison.

Colorado has a Law called the 'no-duty-to-retreat rule' in place, so this case should have never gone to trial!

She appealed the conviction to the Colorado Supreme Court.

In a five to two decision the Colorado Supreme Court overturned her conviction, saying:

“To allow the prosecution to argue that a defendant’s failure to retreat undermines the reasonableness of that defendant’s self-defense claim would cripple the no-duty-to-retreat rule. The only inferences a jury could draw from that line of argument are that, if retreat was possible but not pursued, a defendant must not have acted reasonably by using force or must not have actually perceived a threat, since she would have fled if she had.

That Law allows the use of force if the person under attack believes they are under threat of serious harm. She was in fear that he was pulling a concealed weapon, so her self defence was legal. BUT, with liberals in short term control, and independent actions MUST be punished to the fullest extent of the Law, and apparently even past that!

They also stated that:

“In light of our decision today categorically prohibiting argument regarding a defendant’s failure to retreat, all five of the prosecution’s statements regarding Monroe’s failure to retreat were improper. Accordingly, the trial court abused its discretion by permitting their admission.”

So maybe some liberal DA needs to be fired!

I also have something to say about the local Bus service...WTF were you thinking? An Excuse for a man, is moving in to whip a Woman on your bus, WHY is this person not in jail? Why did the driver allow this? Why was he not thrown off the bus BEFORE this escalated to physical violence?

WHAT THE HELL IS wrong with the "Denver RTD Bus" service; that they would allow this kind of crap to happen? SHAME on all of them, for not defending ladies riding on their buses! UNACCEPTABLE, what a bunch of gutless cowards. How hard is it to call the police and stop the bus? Order this fool off the bus immediately. This is more a failure of the Denver RTD Bus line, than anything else!
