A 90 year old Combat Veteran is arrested in Florida, along with two Pastors; just for feeding the homeless!
Sometimes I run into a story, that just derails my train of thought; and makes me post on it!
What is this World coming to? How insane are we, that we punish Innocent MEN for acts of kindness?
In Florida they arrested a 90 year old veteran, His "Crime"...feeding the Homeless! Seriously? Unbelievable!

He ran off his volunteers, so they weren't arrested. Good MAN! Protecting his volunteers is important, they are good people; and hard to find....

So the Police in Florida arrested this 90 year old Veteran, and two Pastors, for their shared Criminal activity!
The local "Politicians" justified their new Law by saying they want to help the homeless...so apparently help is contained in starvation? It seems that liberals can justify just about anything, no matter how wrong the results!
This one hits hard, because I am cooking for the Sunday Homeless meal right now, and the Mayor here is attacking our homeless population. I guess I may be the next in jail; if our politician is as Stupid, as this one is in Florida!
I only hope that when I am 90, I can still be feeding those that need it most.
They need to apologize to this MAN, and turn him loose, ASAP!

But I bet it is legal to feed the pigeons, feral cats and dogs, and squirrels in the city parks; just not the humans in the city parks.
Howdy sir bashadow! I'm sure you are exactly right about that, this is disgusting. There should be such a public outcry over this that they change the law.

I would hope that this 90 year old understands that he can request a trial by jury. That he can request the Judge inform the Jury that they can find him innocent in that the LAW is wrong, During any Trail By Jury, it is not only the accused on trial but the right and the wrong of the LAW that is also on trial. Juries do not have to make a finding of Quilt or Innocence only, they can find the LAW is wrong and then the law is gone. The Jury is the first step on the road to checks and balances when it comes to the LAW.
It is something that very very few Judges let out in the court room during a jury trial.
That is so interesting sir bashadow, I did not know that! He needs to get some good legal advice then and take this to a jury trial. And that would get national attention!
The louder he can make this the better it is! They need to feel the indignation, and the Anger from the Voters!
I hope the churches in FL all know about this and join forces. How's the cooking going?

This one hurt my heart! We just fed the homeless today here, so I understand this guy. I only hope I can do as well, he is impressive!
