Protest more important than Corona

According to mayor Halsema of Amsterdam protesting was more important than the social distancing rules because of the pandemic. A lot of people find this behaviour by the mayor irresponsible, and demand her to step down because of allowing this demonstration.

I, myself, see nothing wrong in this, because it will not spread the virus, it is all outdoors, there’s no risk, but a other people see that differently.

But, I wonder, if this can be allowed, we can allow spectators for football games again too... What’s the difference? I don’t see it!?
