All the World's a Stage...

...and all the men and women merely players;

I feel like we're playing a part in a production - our character role is to be "terrified" as we imagine all of our friends and neighbors filling up hospitals that are running out of ventilators... meanwhile we are supposed to do the prudent thing: starting with voluntary quarantines and shutdowns, then imposed quarantines and shutdowns. Who knows what's next, I think we have some ideas.

Oh My, Danger!

IF we look back in history, this whole thing resembles the "War of the Worlds" radio program, or the "duck and cover" propaganda... it feels artificially real, if you know what I mean. Any distension from the script or skepticism towards the "new reality" is met with scorn and mocking... or worse aggravation. i think we're being played.

Countries of the world learned that they can easily convince mass numbers of people of a threat and the fear will multiply like a virus until almost everyone is infected.

We all have words that trigger memories or reactions and that's perfectly normal. We see our neighbors hording so we hord. It's built into our flesh to do this. Self preservation. Survival of the one with the most toilet paper.

Safe Spaces

Just because we have triggers, doesn't make us melty snowflakes that needs safe spaces and such. Most people are stronger and more mature than that. What's abnormal is how some people react to their triggers and insist that everyone else avoid their triggers. They can't deal and make the world conform to their comforts.

Global Pandemic

I believe we've been "triggered" into this panic - this hysteria feels like it's programmed into us. To investigate first, making an emotional judgment second, requires overlooking our knee-jerk reaction we all have (myself included) "trust the authorities", "obey scientists", "believe the white-papers", "it's worse than you know"... these are all programed responses and we're (myself included) triggered by these words:

"Global Pandemic"

There's nowhere to hide. It's the whole world. It's everywhere. We're all doomed. The "end of the world" movies are becoming reality before our very eyes. It's all over and only the heroes survive.

Is this really how the story ends?

THEY

If not for all the hysteria, Covid-19 would be no different than H1N1 which took more lives and filled more hospitals, yet will never be remembered the way this VIRUS will be remembered.

The difference between H1N1 and Corona is Yellow Vests, Hong Kong, Drain the Swamp, Brexit, Trump, etc, etc. THEY are trying to regain lost ground.

• THEY, the ones who are building a tower up to Heaven to dethrone the Most High.
• THEY, the ones who persecute the elect of God, faithful descendants of Jacob.
• THEY, the ones who hate the light and operate in darkness.
• THEY, the ones who do not know how to love anyone except themselves.
• THEY, the ones who have broken their conscience and justify their wickedness
• THEY, the ones who consider themselves at a higher level of consciousness than all the "others" who are un-enlightened.
• THEY, the ones who justify the means, even if BILLIONS die, if their ends are met
• THEY, the ones who were loosing, but now WE are submitting.

Seek the Hiding Place of the Most High

Time to get over our fears and realize what's really happening and remember that no matter what THEY do, THEY will never have the last laugh:

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. (Psalms 2:4)

The Most HIGH shows mercy those who seek Him early and tremble at HIS word before the calamity comes upon them:

I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD. (Proverbs 1:26-29)

Do You Believe This?

No matter what happens concerning the virus and control over our lives, as long as we're still breathing, we fight. We acknowledge that we are made in the image of the Creator, recognize our divine sovereignty (Under God, indivisible), all men are entitled to certain unalienable rights endowed by our Creator and in the end we are accountable to HIM alone. From dust we are made and to dust we shall return. What we do in between is up to us. Once we're dead, the last scene of all has ended.

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players...
Last scene of all, that ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

This may be the final scene, but it is not the end of the story. There's a sequel that's going to be more fantastic than ever... and we will no longer be "players", we will be who we were meant to be. We will be operating in the image of the one who made us.
