Time Flies

End of the month already. I've spent a lot of time away from my laptop this month. That was really refreshing, to be honest.

My garden has been doing great. As usual, I'm harvesting more cucumbers and zucchinis than we can handle. The first red tomatoes have been harvested too. I do not really like store-bought tomatoes, but I love them when I can pick them straight from the plant.

Lots of raspberries and figs to pick too. The melons are doing better than last year, and I'm looking forward to the moment when lemon pear and chayote fruits will start growing.

The only disappointment so far, were the plums. Last year and the year before, our young tree gave us exactly 1 plum. I was so excited to see more than a dozen this year. Unfortunately, they all got stolen by rats... Bummer. But it is what it is. I guess rats like organic food too, lol.

Anyway... It's that time of the month again...

Welcome to the Hive Community Garden Journal Challenge, which encourages you to share your monthly (indoor) garden/balcony updates with your the community and create your own garden journal.

Hello @simplymike. I stopped by and saw your new post.
Thanks for tagging my user, I don't know what happens, the mentions don't arrive. The important thing is that I will see that I show you from my garden this time.

Great to read about the tomatoes. Store-bought veggies are all sprayed. I hope I come up with a decent post. The rain here is hard but the okra and beans are still surviving lol

Nice to hear you are getting a good harvest! Those darn cucumbers just won't quit, though I suppose it is nice to always have a few things you can count on to make you feel successful. Of course I jumped in again as it is always fun to track the progress. Now need to update my post with the link to this one in case anyone else sees it and wants to join. :)
