The Green Grapes Experiment June 16, 2019 : Juicing

Hello my Steemit friends,

I am back with an update on this Green Grapes Experiment that I started recently. Notice that this step was made last June 16 which was 3 days ago. I will just share three photos of the said step which is extracting the juice from the grapes.

I received the grapes from my brother on the 13th and only had the time to juice them after three days. I was busy prioritizing other important personal matters and now that everything is alright I can finally sit and do this.

I soaked the grapes in water to get rid of some dirt or small insects that got stuck inside the clusters. On one youtube video they advised to do the soaking for 24 hours but mine had been there for half a day. I think that was enough but I was wrong as there were some insects deep inside the clusters and could not get out. I was worried soaking them that long might have an effect on the final product. Will it remove most of the yeasts or whatever on the skin of grapes? I have no idea.

The grapes I gathered and are ready to be juiced. These are smaller grapes and I only have this much I hope the juice will be enough for me to proceed with this experiment.

I wanted to use a blender but these grapes have seeds. I read, do not include the seeds as they make the juice cloudy and bitter. So, I used this kitchen utensil to mash the grapes for a few minutes and got the juice. I know the juice is not that much to start I was thinking if I can add some water to it.

That is it my friends I will post another blog next time.
