The Green Grapes Experiment June 13, 2019 : Harvesting

Hello my Steemit friends,

Last year I heard about the green grapes that my brother harvested from his own backyard. He posted a few photos online and they look really great. It is my first time to see a grape vine thrived in our place. Although there are locally grown here not all people here would take interest or would know how to take care of them. Good job to my brother who was able to make this sole vine survive. I heard they have them in pair but only one vine managed to mature and bear fruit.

This year, the fruits are not as many as the previous harvest. My brother being a first time grower of a green grape is also clueless why the decline in the produce. Maybe he needs to learn proper pruning techniques. Anyway, the moment I saw his grapes abundantly growing I thought about options with what we can do with them aside from consuming them fresh from the vine. That brought this green grapes experiment to mind. I will be telling you more about it in my next post. Hope you watch out for it. Remember the experiment is on-going and I have no idea what will happen. It could be a hit or miss but one thing is certain, I will document as much as I can and will share here.
