Drone Action!!!

Hey everyone, are you on holiday yet? I can't believe how many folks are still working, I remember years back come beginning December literally everyone was on leave, these days not so much, my how times are a changing.

Did you check out my last video after the rain with our hives next door doing incredibly well? I took video two as below, zoomed in a little, In summer the drones are very prolific, they are the male bees, far darker than the worker double the size and very noisy. Their job is literally to mate the Queen and eat all day, nice life eh! :)
