Everything's going awry on the homestead
WHAT A WEEK 😁😁
We have had nothing but problems at the homestead. The old black truck will not start after a bit of diagnosing we have determined that it is the starter that is bad. So that will need to be replaced. I'm trying to find a used one but I'm not having much luck.
Also, I have been almost unable to move any logs because of this. I'm with the coming rain this week, it needs to get done beforehand.
We have also had problems with the four-wheeler. it was making noises when I was driving it. And I believe I have that fixed now. I also didn't oil change on it and tried to work on the three-wheeler. I believe I may have found what was wrong with it as well. But also, it needs parts.
We also attempted to move logs the other day and got a 4 x 4 truck stuck in Creek which required me to pull it out with my truck. After doing that, I tried to pull logs with my truck, and after pulling one log the transmission would no longer work.
This was not such a big deal as it was just low on transmission fluid and after topping it off it ran okay. However I do have a transmission leak now that I know of and it will have to be fixed, also will cost money.
I'm headed back out to the farm today to try to do what I can to fill in ruts and try to get the starter working on the black truck so I can move logs before tomorrow.
Sorry for the less than optimistic update and for it being so small, hopefully I will have more good news after today in a better update.

oh, that seems bad my friend. You need to fix your work truck. So it means the working for now will be stopped?
Let's just hope you can find a used truck soon for you to use it right away. You didn't bring good news but being positive in life was already good.

The work will never stop...It just means more work to do to get the first work done.😂 And in the last couple days things have really turned around. I got both trucks up and running and i was able to get a log to the top of my hill.

Not really sure what "Mercury in retrograde" means.😂🤣 But of it's the cause of it, it can unretrograde itself ASAP!!! It's gotten better the last couple days, as I'm about to post about. Agreed, 100 percent. He's already catching on pretty well that farm life won't be easy life...as play time is a lot less then work time any more. But he does a really great job and he looks forward to getting moved out there. How's your family doing mate?🤗🤗
