I'LL START WITH THE DOOR CHICKENS

KIMG3820.JPG

These are our chicks. They are just a few months old and they think that because they were keep inside when they were babies(it was cold) that they should be allowed inside now. However, that is not the case, and Ella our cattle dog keeps them at bay.😂 You can just see the top of her head in the picture as she is watching them. If one steps on the carpet she chases them all away.🐕🐓

ON TO THE CAR-BOAT

On a return trip recently to the homestead we noticed a quite crazy looking car. I asked my son if we should turn around for a picture and the answer was yes. So, for your viewing pleasure, I bring to you....a car-boat!!

NOW FOR A FUN ONE...EMOJI-LEAF

Tonight while I walked in the creek at the homestead after working, I saw a crazy little critter...just waiting to put a smile on my face. And I hope he'll do the same for you. So without further ado I present to you...LEAF-EMOJI!!!

HOMESTEAD PROGRESS

As the days get longer I am able to work more hours on the actual homestead. I am hopeful and believing this will help be get ahead of my timeline as I am now about a month behind.

The last two days have been real productive and I have accomplished a couple more good feats.

First, I was able to move all the remaining logs from the woods where they were, to the build site. This matters a lot because we have rain coming in and I can't move them when it's muddy because it's too difficult.

Secondly, I was able to get three of those said logs put into their respective holes and set tonight. So I now have only six more logs to put in the ground...but they are some of the biggest yet.💪💪

LET'S NOT FORGET THE BEST PART....

KIMG3842.JPG

Oh yes, the sunsets. I work until right before sunset, so I enjoy watching them on my ride home. It is a great way to end each day, and i think a great way to end this post. Thanks everyone for coming along. And to everyone who shows us love and support these last

couple pictures are our gift to you. We thank you all so much.🤗🤗🤗

I hope that you would have more chickens in the future Sir @johndoer123 :D

These free range chickens really tastes great if you happen to get used to their rich-tasting meat.

We often cook them with some ginger for a soup with chili pepper leaves and green papaya :D

I was wondering if you needed the logs to get treated forst so that they will not get eaten by termites in the future?

Best regards to your family and #homesteading Sir :)
