ALL POST LOGS ON THE GROUND AND READY TO BE PUT IN THE GROUND(HOMESTEAD UPDATE)
IT'S BEEN SOME HARD WORK
And there's a little bit left to do before we start building the wood house.(I'm so excited to be at this point!)
All the logs are on the ground and cut to length(11 feet). These first 27 logs will be installed into holes I dig into the ground and be the beginning of our first house we build on the homestead.

DROPPING TWO 100 FOOT(33m) TALL MONSTERS
We also accomplished dropping two huge Sycamore trees as well. These will not be used for house posts though. These will be cut into boards to be used during construction.
OTHER HOMESTEAD GOINGS ON
We accidentally painted our four wheeler by spilling the paint we were using it paint tree ends on it..(Katie did it, not me.😁😁)
We found our first dropped deer antler.
We had our first weenie roast this year...just a small one while we were working...but a weenie roast none the less.

ALOT OF WORK!!! We are currently trying to figure out how to get the logs we cut to our build site. We were going to use a couple of Ford Super duty trucks....but we broke them last night trying...back to the drawing board for new plans I guess.😁😁😂🤣
