Making videos and learning new skills
Me and the lad have been doing more videos for YouTube!
Here he is, a few days ago, with our usual dining-room table setup - two GoPro cameras rolling, easy peasy!
He’s gone back to gaming videos again, after a stint of doing action/challenge videos.
In this he is talking about his most recent obsession which is Toca World game on the iPad.
It’s an interactive world which you can build and manipulate the environment. It’s more child friendly than Minecraft, in the sense that it’s just easier to navigate and more fun to explore, plus it’s brighter, more characterful and more attractive.
Once again (below) we rigged up the table for another gaming session, about 20 minutes long - exploring the same game but with different elements. We paid in the game for a ‘hospital’ - so he could explore the game on-camera for the first time with his viewers. His reactions are brilliant!
He is full of ideas at the moment, and is super inspired.
He is naturally reading more because it’s about things that interest him and help him navigate the world around him. So that’s great to see.
We hope to launch a proper YouTube channel for him in the near future - but first we’re getting a stack of his videos edited and ready to go!
Cheers for reading, @ashtv.
I am super happy for you and him!
How old is he?
Thanks! He is 6 and is FULL of energy of every kind.
I envy him because I have now become what I most feared... my dad - I am now “boring” and enjoy sitting down in silence 😂
When did my energy go??
Thanks for continuing to make Hive awesome.
