Follow Friday - Rites of spring

The news

For us in the northern hemisphere spring is coming, but it still gets chilly here. Nature is booming, but will Hive be too? I have seen a fair few people signing up and returning. We need to show them support so that they stick around.

The HIVE price is on a bumpy road, but if you look back to the start of the year it is a lot better. I keep seeing short-lived spikes that take it up a few cents. I guess someone is buying now and again. You should check in at @coingecko now and again to give it your vote of approval.

Here are my weekly suggestions of people to check out:

  • Musician @stickupboys has been here a while. He has been busy signing others up, so we now have @bellou61, @stickupmusic and @watt.the.watt as well, all in Brighton. I have added them to the Brits List for next month.
  • @dcrops is a new farming simulation on Hive that is just starting up. See their posts about a card airdrop.
  • Photographer @jackshootsstuff just came back after a while away from Hive.
  • @bexe from Guatemala is teasing his band's new music.
  • Another musician is @discouragedones from Iran who has some wicked guitar skills. He has been playing some cool covers and original works.

The Doghouse

A prime exampe of how not to do Hive or LeoFinance is ahmedkhan1723 who has been posting plagiarised content ripped off from various sites. Their reputation is rapidly heading for negative and they will make nothing. The have already been blacklisted by the LEO team. Thanks to @badbitch for finding them out. We need to be vigilant to prevent Hive being corrupted.

@discouragedones likes Katatonia, a band I have tried (and failed) to get into. Nevertheless, we are on the same plane. !BEER as !WINE never works unless I call it out (like this).

He seems to have quite varied tastes, but his playing is amazing. I can't even attempt some of that stuff.

I am glad that you pointed out the bad apples. That is pretty sad that they are doing that. So blatantly too. Horrible. We hit a bit of a cold snap here after having some fairly nice temperatures.

Some people will try to cheat and he isn't even very good at it. I was able to easily find one of the sources. Some people use special plagiarism detecting apps. I think schools need those these days.
