I am going to make some changes to my blogging routine
Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
This is just a little announcement of some changes that I am going to make to my blogging routine here on Hive.
Since my very first days on Steem more than 2.5 years ago, I have been trying to post daily and there have been just a very few days when I failed to do so.
Recently, however, I started to feel a bit burned out. I don´t want to post just for the sake of posting so from now, I will probably not post daily anymore. I do want to keep all my weekly series as they have managed to find their audience over the time and most of them are actually community-oriented, giving newbies and small accounts a chance to grow. I am currently running 5 of them (Tipping Contest on Monday, Appreciate Beauty of Nature Photo Challenge on Thursday, Ask the Hive on Friday, Upvote Giveaway on Saturday and Golden Hour on Sunday), which gives me two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) to come up with whatever I feel like writing about. From now on, I will probably post on just one of those two days but I will try to improve the quality of those midweek posts (to at least the level of most of my Beauties of Azores episodes).
The good news for you, my fellow content creators, is that I am also going to focus more on curation. I have been constantly working on increasing my Hive Power and I believe that my upvotes can finally make a difference to some authors (especially newbies and small accounts) so I will make sure to spend more time curating your content and looking for undervalued gems created on Hive ;)

You have been really active here and I know that sometimes Hive takes too much of our time and we need a short pause or better change our posting/activity routine.
High quality posts are the right way and yours are really a difference makers and are helping a lot to growth of Hive as our ecosystem.
Curation is a great thing and yes, it means a lot to us, small accounts when half-orca comes to visit :)

I hear you buddy. Exactly the same thing happened to me at the end of May and felt burned out so slowed down posting and activities online in June to "minimum" - it has made a difference but we all need a recharge, one of the perks of being human!

Thanks mate :) I think in my case, it won´t be a break actually but rather a long term change in my Hivean routine. I am not taking any time off, I will just focus a bit more on quality rather than quantity and also on curation.
Yeah likewise, posting frequency will decrease but aiming to make the posts as epic as possible (I mean, they were all awesome already sooooo 😁).

Hahaha, my support is still so little that you probably didn´t even notice :D I am currently supporting over 70 authors with my autovotes so I have to really spread that % out. But I think something is still better than nothing, right? :)
I think that focusing on curating quality content is a really rewarding activity, for both parts involved.

Co si budeme povídat... Nehledě na to, jak je pravidelné (kvalitní) postování náročné, tak bez kurátorství Hive nebude takový, jaký očekáváme ;)
Když jsem se zapojil do @curangel, poznal jsem kolik balastu v chainu vznikne, ale také kolik kvalitního obsahu zapadne... Škoda, že jsou tak krátké dny ;)

It can't hurt to shift down a gear after everything that has happened in the last few months. I never thought I'd say that, but I also look forward to being back home in a few weeks and taking a deep breath.

Good point, the events of the past months probably had something to do with it too... Safe travels back to Germany guys and enjoy some nice peace and quiet over there ;)
I've been also for 2.5 years on the blockchain and used to post daily at the beginning just to get to know more people and such things, but it was a hard thing since sometimes it takes me even 12 hours to put in order a good post and that would be a little bit too much to do daily, so I slowly started posting every 2 days, 3 days, and then I decided to go for once every 6 days. This is also because it might seem like I'm always on the road travelling but it's just a dream since in reality I probably travel 4-5 times a year but make sure to visit 4-5 different places in the same day. If I would be keeping posting daily I'd ran out of subjects long time ago and not focus so much on my real life 😃
Your travel posts are so good and elaborate that it would be really impossible to produce them on daily basis ;) I like your blogging routine - you are one of the authors whose posts I miss only rarely ;)
