Studying from home, a goal achieved [ENG-ESP]

A little over a year ago now, many things have changed. Due to a global pandemic that is currently stalking and claiming lives, we had to take shelter in our homes for many months, take care of ourselves when going out in the street strictly as necessary and comply with biosecurity protocols to protect ourselves.

Hace ya un poco más de un año, muchas cosas han cambiado. Debido a una pandemia mundial que está actualmente asechando y cobrando vidas, que en su momento tuvimos que resguardarnos en nuestras casas por muchos meses, cuidarnos al salir a la calle estrictamente lo necesario y cumplir con protocolos de bioseguridad para protegernos.

Among many things that changed for all of us, both parents and children was the issue of education at home, many questions happened with all that situation, one of the main ones was the education of our children, in my particular case I had to take on the even greater responsibility of educating my son academically, and as a mother who is dedicated to study with her son for an education.

Entre muchas cosas que cambiaron para todos nosotros, tanto padres como hijos fue el tema de la educación en casa, sucedieron muchísimas interrogantes con toda esa situación, una de las principales fue la educación de nuestros hijos, en mi caso particular me toco asumir la responsabilidad aún mayor de educar a mi hijo a nivel académico, y como madre que se dedica a estudiar con su hijo para un examen, que en este caso era más sencillo de enseñar.

At the beginning it was very hard, adopting habits, gaining a lot of patience to be able to explain an objective, so that he would understand, with all this many questions arose:
Why should you explain to me and not the teacher?
Why can't I play with my friends?
Why can't I go to the park or the mall?
Why can't we go out?
It was very hard, there were many questions and few answers, to be honest.

Al principio fue muy duro, adoptar costumbres, ganar muchísima paciencia para poder explicar un objetivo, para que entendiera, con todo esto surgían muchas preguntas:
¿Porque me debes explicar tu y no la maestra?
¿Porque no puedo jugar con mis amigos?
¿Porque no puedo ir al parque, o centro comercial?
¿Porque no podemos salir?
Fue muy duro, fueron muchas preguntas y pocas respuestas, la verdad.

Little by little we got used to doing homework and exhibitions following their teacher's instructions, different areas of learning, some complex, others easy, but little by little overcoming those weaknesses and strengthening knowledge.

Poco a poco nos fuimos acostumbrando a hacer tareas y exposiciones siguiendo instrucciones de su maestra, diferentes áreas de aprendizaje, unas complejas, otras fáciles, pero poco a poco superando esas debilidades y fortaleciendo conocimientos.

One of my deepest fears was not being able to achieve it, that I would not be able to handle the responsibility of educating, teaching goals and trades to my son; but in the end when I sent the tasks to his teacher and she responded with congratulations that filled me with great pride, because that pushed me much more to put effort and do better and better.

Uno de mis temores más profundos era el no poder lograrlo, que no iba a poder con la responsabilidad de educar, enseñar objetivos y oficios a mi hijo; Pues al final cuando enviaba las tareas a su maestra y ella responder con felicitaciones eso me llenaba de mucho orgullo, pues eso me impulsaba mucho más para ponerle empeño y hacerlo cada vez mejor.

In addition we also had to do crafts at home, and as I am not a professional in the field, I made my best effort, I tried to do a good job, in my opinion it was not so difficult, at the beginning I had doubts about how to do it, because I really did not know how to do it. At other times someone else did what I needed and well, but I had to learn and I liked it because what I did was for my son and of course I did it with a lot of love.

Además también nos tocó hacer manualidades en casa, y como no soy profesional en la materia pues hacia mi mayor esfuerzo, hacia el intento para lograr un buen trabajo, a mi parecer no se nos hizo tan difícil, al principio si me invadía la duda de cómo hacerlo, porque en realidad no sabía cómo hacerlo. Ya que en otras ocasiones otra persona me hacía lo que necesitaba y bueno, pero me toco aprender y me gusto porque lo que hacía era para mi hijo y por supuesto lo hacía con muchísimo amor.

By now we can say that we are 100% ready with all the objectives accomplished, and for me it is an honor and with great pride to tell you that my Allan got his recognition for having completed his school year, and many congratulations from his teacher. He is now officially in 3rd grade.

Para estas fechas ya podemos decir que estamos al 100% listos con todos los objetivos cumplidos, y para mi es un honor y con mucho orgullo comentarles que mi Allan obtuvo su reconocimiento por haber culminado su año escolar, y muchas felicitaciones por parte de su maestra. Ya oficialmente en 3er grado de primaria.

And now it's a fact that we are on vacation! Yes... What happiness! Lots of games and let's enjoy our well deserved rest. Yay!

Y ahora si ya es un hecho que estamos de vacaciones! Si.. Que felicidad! Muchos juegos y a disfrutar nuestro merecido descanso. Yupii!!!
